CVAS Community - Parents & Friends

The Parents & Friends Association at CVAS is an extremely active organisation which seeks to provide fundraising and 'friendraising' opportunities for our school community. Each year the Association contributes funds within the School for identified projects. In the past, the P & F has contributed to the School's capital projects.

Examples of these include:

  • Supply of music and art equipment
  • Provision of playground equipment
  • Air conditioning facilities
  • Improvements to canteen facilities
  • Improvements to the PreKinder facilities
  • Landscaping projects and other important library, classroom and specialist equipment

The Parents & Friends Association consists of a management committee of a President, Secretary and Treasurer.

In addition to funds raised, the P & F embarks on an Annual Program of Events which provides opportunities for families to interact on a social basis ('friendraising') as well as fundraising. This program usually consists of 4 major events each year as well as a variety of school social events.

Meetings are held at 6:30 on Monday evenings at the Grafton Tenpin Bowling Centre, except for the AGM which is held at the Cathedral Campus.
