Principal's Message
Welcome to our web site! We hope it provides you with the information you are seeking and gives you some insight into the exciting educational environment we are building at CVAS.
Clarence Valley Anglican School was established in 1998 to meet the needs of the community for a high quality, low fee, Anglican School. The school has quickly developed a reputation for it's commitment to educational excellence balanced with Christian formation and Pastoral Care.
Grafton city is situated at the heart of the Clarence Valley and is only 40 minutes drive from the growing beach side communities of Yamba and Illuka.
Our enrolment in 2008 is 315 students commencing in PreKinder through to Year 12. CVAS is a vibrant school with a great spirit! We aim at all times to create an environment where every student is known and cared for as an individual. We offer a broad range of educational opportunities, encouraging each student to strive for their personal best.
I am very proud of the tradition we are creating here at CVAS. A tradition of quality in our learning, teaching and pastoral care. I would be delighted to welcome you to the school and I am confident that you will find CVAS as special a place as we do.
In 2007, the School achieved some excellent results which demonstrate the commitment of both our staff and students to achieving their personal best.
- Year 3 and Year 5 Basic Skills Test results also reflected the students high achievements with similar results and a greater improvement in student's progress each year they spend at this school.
