Meet our Principal
The School is a co-educational Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 School in Grafton, Northern NSW, next to the majestic Clarence River and attracts students from the many communities that exist in the Clarence Valley.
The School has many strengths, but at the forefront are the School’s safe and caring environment and the dedicated and professional staff that build strong relationships with the students. While CVAS has a strong focus on academic outcomes, a holistic education is encouraged that captures the strengths of the individual. Happy learners are better learners and the goal is that every student wants to come to school to be a part of the School’s learning community and they graduate with a chosen pathway beyond school. This may be university, a trade, a traineeship or employment.
Our pastoral care of students is based on Christian values in the Anglican tradition, and the School values of: Being a part of a Christian Community, Living in a Nurturing Community where each student prepares for the challenges of adult life and Doing your best in a Learning Community.
CVAS has two beautiful campuses. The Cathedral Campus accommodates Pre- Kindergarten to Year 4, while Year 5 to Year 12 are located at the Clarenza Campus.
